Bonfire and Firework Displays in the North West

Before we start thinking about Christmas, and once all the Halloween decorations have been packed away there’s bonfire night to get excited about, and as per, the North West isn’t short of attractions and events to celebrate! Check out a few of the attractions taking place across the North West this November!

Bolton

Last Drop Village & Spa

Friday 1st November

End the week with an incredibly dazzling firework display taking place at the last drop village and spa with street performers, a spooky mini family disco, a fancy-dress competition and even a funfair which will no doubt keep the whole family entertained!

Gates will be opening at 5pm with the children’s fireworks being lit at around 7:15pm and Bonfire at around 7:30pm. Entry is payable on the night, £5 per adult and £3 per child with cars being charged at £15.00 (covering up to 4 occupants). Just make sure to arrive early and visit all the food and drink stalls available throughout the village!

Bury

Ramsbottom Cricket Club

Friday 1st November

With tickets starting at £4 per adult and £3 for children ages 5-15 with under 5’s going free Ramsbottom cricket club will be putting on a dazzling firework display for the whole family to enjoy. The evening is due to start at 6pm with the starting at 8pm with refreshments available!

Chorley

Astley Park

Friday 1st November

Join Chorley Council in Astley Park for a spectacular free firework display with the bonfire being lit at 7pm and the fireworks starting at approximately 7:30pm. There will be refreshments available to cater to all just make sure you wrap up warm and enjoy the spectacular display!

Culcheth

The Longbarn Residents Association- New Horizons School

Friday 1st November 

With the gates opening at 5pm and the firework display beginning at approximately 7:30pm the fairground rides and refreshments will keep the whole family entertained throughout the evening, not to mention the event is entry by donation with children going completely free!

Farnworth

Farnworth Cricket Club

Friday 1st November 

With payment at the gate, adults, £4 and kids, £2 everyone is welcome. With everything from fairground rides to food a bar (open all night), two firework displays, one for the children and another for the adults, and food and refreshments all night it caters to all, don’t forget to wrap up warm and enjoy!

Harwood 

Harwood Golf Club 

Saturday 2nd November 

The clubs annual firework display will be lit at around 7pm with the fireworks starting at around 7:30pm, with entry being families of 4 for £5, adults, £2 and children £1, food and drinks will be available to purchase with limited parking available so get your tickets quick!

Hindley

Standish Cricket Club

Friday 1st November 

Hosted by Standish cricket club the doors for this spectacular firework display will be opening at 6:30pm with the fireworks starting at around 7:45pm. There will also be a bar with hot and cold food with other refreshments available along with rides and even hook a duck!

Tickets are priced at £3 for adults, £2 for kids and can be purchased on the night.

Westhoughton 

Daisy Hill Cricket Club 

Saturday 2nd November 

With doors opening at 6pm the display will start at around 7:30pm, with no in advance ticket purchase option you can just pay at the gate, with an indoor and outdoor bar also available and of course it’s not Bonfire night without black peas which will also be available for purchase during the evening!

Worsley 

Buile Hill Park

Tuesday 5th November 

‘Remember Remember the Fifth of November’, Buile Hill Park will be hosting their annual bonfire night display on the fifth of the month! The doors will be opening at 5pm with a quieter firework display for the children scheduled to begin at around 5:30pm and the main display beginning at approximately 7:30pm.

Both events are free to enter however everyone will be subject to a bag check to ensure there is no alcohol or own fireworks being bought in.
