Property industry record fall as 23% of homes take under a week to sell!

According to Rightmove, properties are taking an average of just 45 DAYS to sell, research shows looking at the first 2 weeks of April … setting a record of the quickest market recorded to date.

Rightmove has reported that 23% of all the properties that have sold subject to contract this month had been on the market for LESS THAN A WEEK, warning buyers that they face a ‘frenetic’ market and that most will have to be ‘on their toes’ and ready to move more quickly than ever before.

This frenzy of activity has resulted in a surge in property prices, with the latest Rightmove index also revealing that the national average price of a property coming to the market saw a jump of 2.1% at an average of £327,797. This goes on to highlight how buoyant the current housing market is, the demand for properties is higher than ever which in turn is resulting in properties being snapped off the market at such a fast rate.
