Considering selling your property via auction?

If you’re looking for a speedy, secure and hassle-free solution, that cuts out estate agent fees and removes the risk of buyers falling through, then this may be just the option for you.

We work with IAM Sold, whose expertise within the industry is paramount. Together, we can guide you on best practices, ensuring your property achieves the best price possible.

The modern method of auction combines elements of private treaty and traditional auction, making it a more accessible auction method. These auctions usually take place online, creating a larger marketplace that helps gather more interest and activity.

This method offers the security of traditional auction as the buyer pays a non-refundable reservation fee and signs a reservation form, committing them to the purchase. Like traditional auction this method has fixed timescales. This method is often best suited to sellers that are looking for the speed and security of an auction with a larger buyer market.

All of our conveyancers are highly reputable individuals regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority or the Council for Licensed Conveyancers.

The picturesque suburb that is Worsley is situated just west of Salford city and Manchester city centre. It is known for it’s cosy ‘magpie’ style homes and leafy scenic routes, not least along the Bridgewater Canal leading to Salford. It has evolved into an area in demand by professionals and celebrities alike, looking for a move to an area near the city centre that has rural aspects to it. Ex-Manchester United legends Ryan Giggs and David Beckham once called Worsley home.

Worsley Woods is a scene of natural beauty, 85 acres of woods, streams, sculptures and a wild flower trail.

Worsley is around a 5 minute drive down the M60 from The Trafford Centre, one of the largest and most visited shopping centres in the UK.

It is also home to many warm and homely pubs and restaurants, most of which feature the iconic black and white Tudor-style architecture. The most popular of which is the John Gilbert, named after the head engineer of the Bridgewater Canal. Worsley Old Hall features expansive green gardens, with open fires for the winter months. It is a Grade II listed country house pub.

Worsley is easily the most affluent part of Salford, almost double the price of its neighbours Walkden and Swinton, and yet it is still high in demand. Properties rarely remain available for very long.

The majority of properties sold last year were semi-detached houses selling for an average price of £285,240.

Terraced properties sold for an average of £225,287 and detached properties sold for £469,631.

Worsley’s average sold property price for last year (£339,842) was more expensive than nearby Walkden (£191,776) and Boothstown (£216,048).

Sold property prices ranged from £53,000 for a leasehold flat on Newhart Grove to £1,400,000 for a freehold, six-bedroom, detached house on Chatsworth Road.
